Will need a new belt. I attempted to order a new replacement however it did not fit the machine correctly even though the part number matched. Serial number AE417234, commission date of March 15,1937. The paddle and the cord are in great condition there are no Cracks or wear on the cord. This machine really is in great condition.11 bobbins, pair of Singer gold seal scissors, 2 packs of needles, thimbles, motor lubricant in original box, attachment for a singer hemstitch with original box and instruction booklet and have the original Machine manual and several other attachments. The case is showing wear as it would with its age but, the case latches securely with no issues at all. Could not locate the keys. Please review photos for all the details As those are part of the description on exact contents and condition. Please contact me with any questions or if you would like more photos. It was hard to decide what photos to put in the listing when its limited to 12 photos.
Asked if the bobbin case was the original. Yes, this is the original bobbin case. It is stamped with; Simanco USA 45750.I failed to get a photo of the faceplate so, my apologies for missing that. And thanks to those of you for contacting me asking about this. If you would like a photo of the faceplate, please contact me and I will send to you.
