RARE VINTAGE 1950'S DOLLY DRESSMAKER TIN MECHANICAL TOY BY T-N CO. This is a RARE FIND.

These don't show up often.... A true classic and MUST have for any vintage tin toy collection.

Item is 100% original and functions just as it should 8-9/10 times but likely needs to be serviced and/or oiled seeing that it has not been used in 65+ years (but I will leave this for its new owner to decide). Item is used and in GREAT CONDITION..... Only thing missing is Box and Dolly's hair tie (which can easily be replaced). Shows some light signs of use but nothing major.

I have decided not to clean this or do any maintenance on this item and. To leave this is it's original "as found" condition. I will leave this for the new owner to decide. Comes from a smoke and pet free home. When I put new batteries in and tested she did not turn on....

Upon closer inspection I noticed there was a gap between the battery connections. I lightly bent up the metal and she instantly turned on.... Sometimes all the functions do not function in sequence for example the pattern sometimes gets stuck on one image, or her head and feet seem to move slower.

This is most likely because it has not been used in 65+ years. I'm sure all it would need is a little servicing oil?

And she would work every-time just as she should.... However I will leave this for the new owner to decide because I'm not familiar in this area. Item: Vintage Dolly Dressmaker Mechanical Tin Toy. Batteries Required: Yes (2) D. Clean Battery compartment with no-corrosion. Clothing is in good condition with no tears or stains.

Original white fabric sheet still attached to her hand. Unaltered All Original - As Found Condition. When the on button is switched on the following actions take place simultaneously. Template under cloth alternates between: Red Flower, Puppy Dog, and Blue Bird and is shown through on fabric above.

Dolly moves her head from side to side. Hands move cloth from side to side. Round pully on side of machine rotates. Dolly's feet move the pedal back and forth appearing that she is controlling the machine.

Needle on sewing machine moves up and down. Check out the pictures and judge the condition for yourself as these are considered part of the description.
